Advent Day 17 - Danelaw

Good morning and welcome to day 17 of the WBB Advent!

We have another one of my favs today, its of course Danelaw.

On the third day of the advent we had their Christmas Blend Santa Lucia, today I thought we'd do a classic.

You can read all about Santa Lucia and all about Danelaw by clicking here

and once again, we have a coffee that's no longer available on the Danelaw website, am I responsible for your fomo this month? you may be entitled to some compensation (you're not)

However, lets get into todays coffee which is a Honduras.

Producer: Delmy Regaldo

Farm: Finca La Fortuna

Region: Ocotopeque

Process: Natural

Varietals: Parainema, Pacamara, Catuai, Pacas

Altitude: 1520MASL

Taste: Tropical, Cocoa, Berries

Let's Brew

For all coffees when tasting I used a 18g/225g recipe, which I feel really brought out the best in so many of the coffees I picked for the calendar (if you have a physical WBB advent, you have 22.2g (of course I had to include angel numbers) to play around with)

This coffee is bursting with chocolate raisin notes (and boy did it make me crave them), super light and smooth, as it cooled the more tropically it got, think dried mango type vibes (you know they're my favourite) this is a real easy drinker and I'm certain that the rest of the bag is not going to last long.

I love every coffee that Dave roasts, but boy this is up there.

See you tomorrow for Day 18! (the final countdown until the end is on!)
